The rain's gone, the sun is shining and the weather's warming up. Things look fantastic at the moment, everything's lush and green, there's water in our rivers and it's finally spring. What could be better?
The Murray's open again and the lake is looking fantastic. It's a great time to get out there and get back on the water, whether you're tearing it up on a Jet Ski or speed boat or enjoying the peace and tranquillity while kayaking down the Murray River.
Don't forget to also stop by the Yarrawonga-Mulwala Agricultural Show this weekend. Enjoy twilight horse events, kids' novelty events and races and a battle of the bands on Friday night. Don't miss the Spectacular fireworks display to top it all off. Saturday is when the action begins, with BMX demonstrations, the wood chop display and competition, Miss Showgirl competitions and the Grand Parade. Make sure you take the time to browse through all the exhibits, including the horticultural pavilion, cookery and preserve exhibitions, needlecraft, art and craft, woodwork and photography displays. There's the much loved rides and side-show alley. And make sure to stop by Roaming Reptiles - a petting zoo with a difference. Before leaving make sure you pick up a showbag (or two if you're having trouble deciding).
