Farm Gate Trail

The Farm Gate Trail is made up of a co-operative group of primary producers who offer their product direct from its source, the farm.

Our region is well known for orchards, fresh produce and award winning wines. Fertile soils, a Mediterranean climate and the passion and dedication of local producers all combine to create an exceptional experience for food and wine lovers alike.

Pick your ideal Farm Gate destination, or select from the suggested itineraries provided. Whatever route you take, we’re sure you’re in for a great time.

When touring the Sun Country on the Murray Farm Gate Trail, it is important to note that these are working farms. If you intend to travel some distance, it is always a good idea to double check the opening hours and make a quick phone call to check that someone is available to meet you.

Each Farm Gate offers a completely different experience. All are working farms and the owners are heavily involved in all stages of cultivation, harvest, production and sales. Many are iconic characters with great stories to tell, so make sure you take the time to soak up the atmosphere and discover these gems of Sun Country on the Murray.
