You can enjoy access to many of the beautiful river beaches from the Victorian side of the Murray River. We have compiled a list of the popular beaches reached from:

 

Cobram

River Road - located off Mookarii Street, approximately 4km east of the town centre, River Road provides access to:
•    Quinn Island Wildlife Reserve & Cobrooga Beach (NO camping or vehicle access).
•    Scotts Beach 
•    Horseshoe Bend (boat ramp, fireplace, BBQ, picnic facilities)

Wondah Street - located off Mookarii Street, approximately 2.5km north of the town centre, Wondah Street provides access to:
•    Little Toms Beach 
•    Big Toms Beach 

Racecourse Road - located off the Koonoomoo Cobram Road, approximately 4km north-west of the town centre, Racecourse Road provides access to:
•    Dead End Beach
•    Dead River Beach (toilet facilities)

Cottadidda State Forest - The Cottadidda State Forest is located approximately 8km east of the town centre, through Barooga and off the Barooga Mulwala Road. Stock Route Road provides access to:

Barooga to Tocumwal
Cobram Barooga State Forest - The Barooga State Forest is located approximately 15km west of the town centre, through Barooga and off the Tocumwal Barooga Road, Smithers Road provides access to:
•    Dunns Beach
•    Micks Beach
•    Smithers Beach
Tocumwal
Tuppal Street- located 19km north-west of the Cobram Barooga Visitor Information centre, provides access to:
•    Town Beach (boat ramp, picnic and toilet facilities)
Tuppal Road - located 18km north-west of the Cobram Barooga Visitor Information Centre, Tuppal Road provides access to:
•    Pumps Beach - Sonnermans Reserve (boat ramp)
•    Walkers Beach
Camping Safety
Please take note of the following guidelines for your safety:
•    Avoid camping or parking under large trees, as they may drop branches without warning.
•    Be aware of river hazards, including strong currents, deep water, submerged objects and rope.
•    Do not dive or jump into the river, or use swings attached to trees or other structures.
